There is a very active R user group on Meetup, https://www.meetup.com/useRchile/ which also has a Blog at http://www.userchile.cl or on their Meetup group.
At each meeting, Data Scientists present and talk about their work; all videos are available on the Blog or on the Vlog (Youtube). For those who are very busy, we do live streaming of the meetups.
